I mean no disrespect, but you unfortunately chose poorly when picking the wood for your example.
A plain board not a mix of heart and sapwood and with no spalting would show your design much better. The design gets lost in your example. I just thought you might want some feedback from viewers.
I agree with GOCHIEFS. In my view it's to "boring" piece of wood for such an example.
