Join renowned turner and beloved teacher Beth Ireland for this webinar as she demystifies offset turning. She’ll explain how you can make turned parts like legs or boxes with an elliptical cross-section, or even a triangular one. Beth has made her living with a lathe for 40 years, turning everything from towering architectural columns and spiral stairway balusters to palm-sized sculptures and a range of seating. And she has taught thousands of people to turn, whether she was barnstorming across the country in her specially outfitted van or settling for weeks or months at a time at schools from Maine’s Center for Furniture Craftsmanship to Washington State’s Port Townsend School of Woodworking.

UGH!! Wife made dinner plans for tomorrow. Will this be available to view later?
The video looks like a mirror image. Am I seeing this correctly?
It is a mirror image. Until it is changed Beth’s name will appear as hteB on her apron. This is important to note since she speaks of being “right” handed and then appears to use her “left hand” to do certain tasks. Viewers beware.
If you would like to see it correctly watch your computer’s reflection in a mirror. Another example of two wrongs make it right.
Great video. Straight forward concise and easy to understand. Well done. Beth must be a great teacher in person
Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do ;)
