How do you get the measurements to make the angle gauge?
Bob
Each honing guide has different projection measurements for the angles.
Here is a link to Lie-Nielsen Honing Guide page. In the Details tab there are two PDFs for "Sharpening Instructions PDF" and "Deneb Puchalski's Angle Setting Jig PDF".
The measurements are in the PDFs for the Lie-Nielsen Honing Guide. In Deneb's Angle Setting Jig PDF he shows how to measure the angle distances with an engineer's protractor for any honing guide.
