Modeling upholstered cushions in SketchUp
Dave Richards shows you a variety of ways to model upholstered cushions for your SketchUp projects.Recently I was asked to demonstrate modeling upholstered cushions in SketchUp. The requester asked for piping and tufting with buttons. Like many things in SketchUp, there are a variety of ways to accomplish these tasks. The piping is done with a profile and Follow Me path. For the tufting, I use an old extension called Soap Skin & Bubble, which is available from the Extension Warehouse. I hope you find something here you can use in your own modeling.
