For a recent project, I modeled a wooden-cheeked becket block for a client. There are a number of things in the modeling process that can be applied to a lot of other modeling projects. Here’s a video demonstrating the process I used to make it. This was all done with native tools.
There are some extensions that could have been used but in this model, I don’t think they’d have made it any faster or any easier. I hope you can find some methods to apply when you make some of your own models.
