Really enjoyed your craftsmanship and detail on the Queen Ann chair. Thank you very much for producing this video. It demonstrated many different techniques that could be used on future, but not nearly as complex as this one, projects.
Absolutely amazing! This has been a wonderful build session and Dan's attention to detail and expertise, his ability to discuss what he's doing is equally impressive. It's no wonder he was awarded the cartouche by SAPFM. Thank you.
Outstanding series. Dan is a natural at explaining the process. Love the balance of power and hand tools. Please make more of these types of video workshops.

My superlatives won't do this series justice; it's simply phenomenal. One of the things that stood out (there were many) was Dan's detailed outlines of what task he was about to perform, how he was going to approach it, and why - followed up with the execution of that task accompanied by detailed descriptions - including important details like grain direction.
Another was the diagrammatic callouts illustrating key aspects of design and construction. Without those, some of the details would have to be deduced, perhaps incorrectly. I'm pretty confident that someone reviewed the series and inserted these callouts when they felt it would be helpful, and whoever did that just nailed it (I got to the point where something was being discussed and I was thinking "Oh, I hope there's a callout for this..." - and there it was).
A real pleasure learning from a master.
Dan was of course responsible for the first paragraph.
The second, was the incredible work of Brigid Meyer. She's a rare mix of talented editor, graphic guru, and woodworker and knows exactly what to put where and when. I'm smitten with her editing to say the least.
