Fine Woodworking New England — April 26 & 27
The Fine Woodworking New England 2-day event in Manchester, Connecticut, will feature dozens of demonstrations by Frank Strazza, Steve Latta, Larissa Huff, Andrew Hunter, and many more.It has been a while since Fine Woodworking has held a live event, and we figured the best way to get back on track is with a free event hosted by Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking. The Fine Woodworking New England 2-day event in Manchester, Connecticut, will feature dozens of demonstrations by Frank Strazza, Steve Latta, Larissa Huff, Andrew Hunter, and many more. The show will also feature tool makers as well as an antique tool flea market.
We will have live scheduled demonstrations as well as ongoing demonstrations throughout the show. We hope to live-stream the demonstrations for Unlimited members who can’t make it to the show. We’ll have some food trucks on hand during the event as well. Special thanks to our sponsors Shaper Origin, Woodpeckers, Blue Spruce, and Titebond for helping to make the event possible. Special thanks as well to Bob Van Dyke at Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking for organizing the event and putting together the roster of demonstrators.
Come out and take in some demonstrations, say hi to your favorite authors, and hang out with fellow woodworkers. it’s a long-overdue invitation to get together and have some fun. I hope to see you there.
The event is free, but for us to plan properly we’d appreciate it if you pre-registered for the event here.

Looking forward to this and seeing some familiar faces.
Would both days be vastly different from each other in terms of presentations or could everything be taken in in just one day?
Hi Kevin, We're planning on having 15 separate scheduled demonstrations over the 2 days. -Mike (Also different food trucks each day.)
Fantastic. And thanks to everyone at FWW and CVSW for doing this!
What time does the event start/end on each day? I don't see that indicated anywhere.
We're working out the schedule still but likely 9-5ish.
Perfect! Thanks, Ben!
Please record the live demos!
The current plan is to do that, but better yet, we'll be live-streaming for Unlimited members.
I am a Math teacher and would love to see Will Neptune’s presentation but will not be able to watch it due to school. Will it be available to see later?
It should be, but we haven't decided what presentations will be going to the website later on. We want to make sure everyone gets paid fairly for their time and we're figuring it out still.
I'm thinking of flying in from Missouri - ready to make flights. Any lodging recommendations?
This will be great. I've been missing these large get-togethers all throughout the COVID disaster. Thank you FWW and CVSW! I'm ready to learn and visit.
Unfortunately, I cannot attend but I am looking forward to seeing you on a live stream! Can someone please post a URL for the live stream when possible?
Thank you!
Looking forward to this and thank you for putting it on. Wondering if you will be posting a schedule of presenters beforehand? Thank you.
Bob is keeping the schedule up to date on his site here:

Great, thank you Ben!
Are there any hotels close to the school?
i have had a fall preventing me from standing and had originally signed up to attend.
I am an unlimited member and am unsure how to get to the live stream. will i get a notice or can i go to fine woodworking site to connect
It will actually be on this very page. But we're sending out an email letting everyone know as well.
I take that back. I just had a realization why it can't be on this page. Long story... attendees might want to use this page to view the schedule but for the members-only livestream it would need to be behind the paywall. So much for my obsession of keeping it simple. But the livestream page WILL be linked here and likely on the homepage as well.
I'm very excited to see you all. And maybe take in a Yard Goats game.
Any idea what Al Breed and some of the other demonstrators will be doing? Is there a time schedule for that?
They'll be demoing at their benches around the event.
How will Unlimited Members get the link for the live streaming?
It'll be on this very page... but I'm getting an email together to go out to the members right now telling everyone that.

I drove down from central New Hampshire and I’m so glad I did! It was a great event, with so many demos and makers. Larissa Huff! Amazing! Chuck Bender bent my mind with math. Will Neptune gave a beautiful talk on geometry in design. And now I want to try shellac thanks to John Coffey.
My hubby told me to buy something for myself so I did: some beautiful chisels from Blue Spruce. And I hinted pretty hard that a Shaper Origin would be a great birthday gift. 😉
Thanks to BVD and all the FWW crew for a super event!
