Before we were married and I started woodworking, Katie and I would watch more woodworking shows than we could explain. One was Roy Underhill’s Woodwright’s Shop. We thought he was crazy because why would anyone build furniture with just hand tools? The other show was David J. Marks’ WoodWorks. We thought he was crazy because who was THAT into woodworking?

Well… the irony.

At the time, my non-woodworker brain couldn’t fully appreciate how cool Roy and David were and that I would one day deeply admire them both. Last week, I was excited when someone on our discord server announced that David was rereleasing all 91 episodes of WoodWorks on his YouTube channel—one episode every Friday. For some, it might be nostalgic, for others, it might be the first time you’ve seen it. Either way, I think you’re going to be into it!
