FW New England: Members-Only Live Stream!
This is the place where Fine Woodworking Unlimited members can join in the fun at this weekend's event and see all of the demonstrations live!Plus, access more than 500 video workshop episodes when you become a member
We will all be at the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking this Friday and Saturday having a woodworking geek-out party! Every time we’ve done a live event in the past, we’ve lamented that we couldn’t share the fun with our Unlimited members. Well, this time we’re jumping through the hoops and are going to do our darndest* to make sure you’re able to enjoy the event from the comfort of your computer as well!
Starting Friday morning, Unlimited members can view the stream on this page. If this all works as we hope it will, we’ll be doing more livestream events like this for our membership!
*We’re at the mercy of the Internet Gods of Connectivity. We’ve done everything we can to make sure it works. May the odds be ever in our favor.
Day 1:

Great content so far. Will the livestream be preserved and available after the event?
Great stuff! Only problem: Can't hear questions from the audience. Please remind presenters to repeat the question for the benefit of online viewers and anyone reviewing any recordings.
We tried but it's not an easy thing to remember in the heat of the moment.
I've been at events where people with questions lines up for a chance at the mic. Usually 2 lines to keep things mov in moving.
I wasn’t able to come, 1400 miles away, but sure wanted to. This live stream is fantastic! The only problem is I’m not getting much done today at home… That’s ok because this is so interesting!
Thanks to all involved for a fantastic show. The only thing better would to be there.
Wonderful idea to livestream this event! Excellent material and presenters. The livestream was a big bonus and well worth my time to watch. Thank you.
Wonderful that you live-streamed this event!!! Such great information! Thanks!!!
Grecan not make at day Sorry I had a fall preventing me from being there. Presenters did a great job and the video was also great. Looking forward to tomorrow. Sorry to hear your first presenter tomorrow can not make it.
All the presnters obviously have great enthusiasm for woodworking and sharing their knowledge. Please pass my congratulations on to all including Connecticut School for hosting the event. Look forward to tomorrow!
Thanks so much for live streaming the program from the Connecticut Valley School of Woodworking. Looking forward to tomorrow. I just came down with Covid and am a little under the weather, but the seminar’s really brightened my day. Learned stuff I never ever thought about. Well done.

Greetings from the UK. An absolutely fabulous group of presenters. Many thanks to all involved in these two days.

Wonderful carving presentation and great quote!
Planned to be there - but airfare prohibitive once could make reservations. Bummer. Love the livestream - but wish I were there.
Any plan to index the various presenters by their respective time slots in the daily feeds?
Eventually. We need to recover still.
Thanks for the live stream! It was great. My plan to be there in-persons were thwarted by a flat tire at 6AM on Friday morning. Shifted to the stream and got to enjoy the content just like I was there - and I didn’t have to give up my seat to be thoughtful to others that were standing. I suggest you ask presenters to repeat questions (or type then into the chat) so we could all know what the presenter answered. Please do it again! Please do more streamed live presentations - perhaps a rough version of what will be edited into the polished video series you offer.
Thanks! I tried to type them into the YouTube chat but it just became too much for me at the time. Next time we'll have a mic for the audience or something.
Thanks for making this available! Great video & audio. Will renew my Unlimited membership, for sure!

I had the privilege to be at Woodworking Live 2017 put on by FW. Although not the complete experience that 2017 was, I was glued to my screen for most all of the excellent presentations, just wonderful. Well done Ben and the FW team, congratulations!
I’m looking to find the session on guilding? Glad to see that FW tuned into it.
