I use a nail to keep my glue bottle tip open and ready for use, with no need to clean off dried glue. After trimming the tip of my bottle to the opening I like, I find a nail that fits it, and then tether it to the bottle with electrical wire, so the nail won’t go missing.

Glue Bottle
My favorite glue bottle is a ketchup dispenser. Inexpensive and you can cut the tip to customize glue distribution. If you always put the cap back on, it never clogs.
These spring clamps have large 2" jaws that are perfect for deeper capacity clamping, as well an an elastic, that provides lateral clamping pressure on edge banding, where deeper clamps can't reach.
Made in Indiana, and recently added to the Lee Valley catalog, they are made of nonmarring polyurethane, hot-cast around lead shot and a steel handle. This gives them a very solid feel and excellent impact. They come in a wide variety of sizes, but I like the 21-oz. ($26) and 26-oz. ($29) best for woodworking use.
