Here’s an interesting story about Tom Bodett: author, NPR essayist, and of the Motel 6 commercial fame. When asked what he does now, he says he is a woodworker. He loves it. Loves it so much that he co-founded a Makerspace and school in Brattleboro, Vt.: HatchSpace.

The 8000-square-ft. HatchSpace provides the space, training, and support to create beautiful things with wood. It’s a place for novices and experts to share and grow together.
