Out of curiosity, I wandered over to his YouTube page recently and got sucked in by his unique perspective and clever ideas. The video above features an idea he shared in Fine Woodworking #309, but with a little more detail.

As someone who veers off the well-worn path of common woodworking benches, I love Vincent’s use of a miter saw stand as the structure of his carving bench.
