We’ve been hosting a monthly build challenge on Discord. It’s been a great way to build community among woodworkers. A couple weeks ago we invited Michael Cullen to look at project submissions, which were several creative ideas for pencil boxes. You can check out the channel to see our recorded Zoom meeting.

This month’s prompt is making something that “keeps you sharp.” A little digging around for ideas led me to this video, which is a perfect solution for my waterstones. I love that this stores neatly away and keeps my stones protected, and I plan to buy a little extra rubber cork to line my vise as well.
