Charlie Reina is a former associate editor for Fine Woodworking. He came to the magazine after a 30-year career in broadcasting as a writer and producer for Good Morning America and other nationally syndicated news programs. He took up woodworking as a hobby in the mid-1980’s and says he hasn’t come out of his workshop since then. Like a lot of woodworkers these days, Reina says he filled his shop with all the basic power tools and then some, from tablesaw to mortiser. More recently, though, he’s switched his sights toward working with hand tools.
