David Sabol is a professional woodcarver and instructor who specializes in carving figurines and wildlife. He began carving at the age of eight and won his first award at age 12. Upon graduating from Southern Connecticut State College in 1983, David chose carving as his career.
In addition to teaching seminars around the country, Sabol has also published six books on carving, and his work has appeared in magazines such as Wood Carving Illustrated. David lives in Pennsylvania with his wife, Laura, and their two children.
