In 2003, Ellen Kaspern graduated from the Cabinet and Furniture Making program at North Bennet Street School in Boston, where she has been teaching as an adjunct instructor for the past 13 years. She is a member of the cooperative Fort Point Cabinetmakers in Boston, where she designs and builds custom furniture, built-ins, and small objects for her business. Her work has appeared in galleries and she has given talks about woodworking around much of the northeastern United States.
