John Parkinson

John served his woodworking apprenticeship training through the traditional British City & Guilds system. After 25 years as a journeyman woodworker he moved to the United States in 2005 where he started his own custom furniture business in Austin, TX. He now lives and works in Durham, NC where he continutes to make custom furniture johnparkinsonfurniture.com). He is also a member of the Lie-Nielsen Hand Tool Event staff and travels the country demonstrating hand tools and hand tool techniques for Lie-Nielsen Toolworks.
