Peter Gedrys has made a career out of his love for color, but his passion for it extends beyond his Connecticut finishing shop. When he’s not working, you’re likely to find him in the garden, nurturing one of his favorite flowers, dahlias. Says Gedrys, “My wife Kathy calls our gardens her ‘Living Monet.’” Gedrys opened Architectural Finishes in 1987, offering finishing services to furniture makers, restorers, and installers of architectural millwork.
How many brushes do you have? “About 30 to 50, I’d say.”
