Working in small spaces comes naturally to Stelios L.A. Stavrinides. The Web graphic designer lives in Nicosia, on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus—one of the world’s smallest nations. Stavrinides, who describes himself as a self-taught, weekend woodworker, says he hopes to one day build a 300-sq.-ft. “dream shop” that he envisions as both workspace and teaching facility. Now that’s a big idea.
