This week’s project on Classic Woodworking showcases the elegance of live edge black walnut. Host Tom McLaughlin makes a spectacular live edge coffee table with a waterfall end and wood base that creates a cantilevered effect. Tom visits the lumberyard and gives us tips on selecting an appropriate slab, and demonstrates how to flatten such a wide board using a router jig. He transforms the natural edge and sawn ends into a clean, sculptural surface, and shows us how to use hand tools to make a beautiful contrasting bowtie inlay.

Maybe someones mother is in charge of this and she was off for Mother's Day.
Happy Mothers Day
I'm having the same issue as Grumpy2013. I'm logged in and only the teaser will play.
Should be fixed now. Sorry about that.
Grumpy2013 love your name. I,m having the same issue
Hi all, I hate to be the Debbie downer here, but the one thing I have noticed about each show I have watched is Tom wears not Dust protection. In this last show you could see the dust coming off the router, while I am sure everyone is going to say he has a dust hose coming off the tools. In this day and age when we are trying our hardest to get young folks involved with woodworking I think it would be a Very Good idea to also show the proper protection is being used. Like I said sorry to be the bad person, but having issues breathing because you did not follow the right procedure is not a good teaching lesson.
Other wise I love the show, like anything you always wish it could be longer. I know how much work that goes into making one of these shows, so I will enjoy what can get. Thanks guys..

I just got to view this episode, and I think it's the best one so far. Thanks, Tom!
Definitely the best show yet
I'm really loving this new show with Tom McLaughlin. Thanks FWW for the new host. Tom has incredible skills and such a great presenter. I'm hooked on RoughCut for the first time.
After logging in I still only get the teaser? Help!
