I am making a blanket chest, and would like to use 1/2 ” box joints. Should I use my 10″ saw. using dado blades, or a router table. I see many jigs for this on the internet. Is one of them better than the others.
Thanx,
Paul

If you have the table saw and a good dado set, then go ahead and use them. If your parts are large however, then investing in a dovetail jig that can cut finger joints is not a bad thing. This way you'll be able to clamp your boards in the vise and run the router over them. Good luck. Gary
