   MacBeath Harwood carries 1/2" walnut plywood as well as walnut veneer.

           I just went through this myself. I took 2 1/4" and got my glue and clamps and got two good faces.

   Dave,

   Boulter Plywood has what you're looking for.  They carry walnut plywood in (thicknesses): 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 3/4", and 1".

   They ship almost anywhere, and do a good job at packing the product for transport.

   my local woodcraft store can get it for me.  i just have not been able to get 3/4 red oak.  go figure

   I have to move the 3/4" red oak out of the way to get to the other stuff - lol
