Can someone in the connecticut area point me in the direction of a local sawn mill with reasonably priced 1/4 sawn oak?

I would try the website http://www.woodfinder.com you can type in your area code and get the ten closest mills in your area.

I can help if you're in the Midwest. I use several good sources within 100 miles of Chicago.
Please post.. Not sure my old truck can make a 100 mile round trip but... would like your sources.. Thanks...
Ok Q-sawn oak in Chicago area:
Owl Hardwood Lumber Co. Lombard and Palatine locations.
Kirkland Saw Mill Kirkland IL (north of Dekalb)
Hardwood Connection (in Dekalb)
Carstens Millworks Warrenville 630-393-6341 (small, will mill at your site)
Google: Frank Miller Lumber in Indiana - that's where Stickley buys theirs.
Let me know if you need more detail on these. They all have websites
Thank You....
How much of what size are you looking for?
I have some and would be willing to sell.

How much do you want and how much do you want to pay?
Thanks for everyones feedback! I am not looking for a specific "large" amount right now rather a location to access various amounts for my ongoing projects - I am launching into building my own bookcases and furniture and have problems finding a location in Connecticut to purchase the 1/4 sawn oak. The websites pointed out direct me to a few locations that i will try.
Have any of you had any luck with your local saw mills or is the cutting process to tedious to warrant their time?
Another strange question...if i resaw my own oak from a fallen tree how log will it take to air dry?
