10″ CMT table saw blade bore too small
I recently restored an old 1950s 113 craftsman table saw. It’s in really decent shape. The arbor is dead on 5/8 with no measurable runout. I splurged on full kerf CMT Orange chrome blades but the bore on those blades measure only 39/64. That’s a difference of 3/32 too small. The blades cannot fully mount the arbor causing extreme runout. Is this a manufacturing defect by CMT or am I missing something here?

3/32 or 1/64 too small ?
Ah. 1/64 too small my bad.
I went to the CMT British site and they have metric bore size, on their saw they all print 5/8 bore size but on the spec, they have 15,8 and 15,88 mm bore size, 15,8 would be shy of 5/8th by 3 thousands and I suppose this is what you got.
This makes a lot of sense. Thank you. I will contact Taytools and see if I can exchange them for blades meant for the American market.
