I purchased a Forrest 12″ chop saw blade for my Sears 12″ radial only to discover the Forrest has a 1″ arbor and my radial is 5/8″. Any recommendations on a quality cutoff blade for my radial?

Talk to Forrest. I'll bet they can make the same blade with the smaller arbor size.
Any well-stocked supplier will have an adapter for your blade from 1" to 5/8". If Forrest is willing to exchange the blade, then fine, but you can work perfrctly well with an adapter like this.

I agree with DR. 1" is standard bore for a 12" saw so if you buy a saw bushing you will have it to use with other 12" blades in the future. These bushings are common (DeWalt uses 5/8" arbors on their 12" miter saws so there is a large market for these) and the Freud item# is BL71MCE9.
