About two years ago I bought a Powermatic 15″ planer. Periodically I have trouble getting the material to feed through. When this happens I meticulously clean all the rollers. This helps sometimes but most of the time I quit in disgust then come back later and it works fine. Has anyone had similar troubles and found a solution?

Is it completly in gear, sometimes I bump the high low lever a little and the gears are not fully transmitting power.
Thank you for the suggestion. I'll try it tomorrow.

I have the Jet version, which is a clone of the powermatic, or vise versa. That does happen to me, and it has always been that the speed select is in between speeds caused by 'bumping' it, as the other guy put it.
