I thought I would share. My grandparents purchased a dining room set from Homer brother furniture in Chicago 1938. The same year mom was born. They gifted the set to my parents after my sister was born. It ended up with me after mom passed at the end of ’22.
This was commercial furniture in 1938.
I am not trying to restore or refinish the tables, 6 chairs, and buffet. Just re-glue joinery as needed and get everything functional.
This is the 1st of 6 chairs done.

It looks to be in really good shape for something almost 90 years old.
The finish has been touched up over the years. I applied wax several times. It's been in 4 houses and only been moved 3 times.
