i’ve been looking to buy a 20″planer and i’am having a hard time trying to pick the best one with out paying all out doors for it. has any one owned or heard any reports about the woodtek 20″ planer? for the money it seems to be a good buy! or am i just looking in the wrong place.

There are what appears to be a heavy duty commercial grade and a less expensive shop grade. Both of them appear substantial but I am a little leary of the 1 year guarantee. Powermatic has one comparable in features to the Woodtek commercial grade and it carries a two year guarantee. Mind you I have no experience with either of these tools. These are just a few of my baseline checkpoints. My next stop would be a full blown demo.
