I have my bandsaw and vacuum plugged into an auto switch. The vacuum is automatically turned on 1 second after starting the saw and off 7 seconds after the saw is turned off. I have a separate vacuum attached to my table saw that I manually turn on and off. I would like to use an auto switch like on the bandsaw. However, my table saw runs on 220 volts. Is there an auto switch (or another way) to do this?
Thanks,
Dennis

Wire in a relay using one leg (110ac) of your table saw switch output for control voltage. The relay would control the voltage of a standard 110 circuit ( one of your existing) to a separate plug. You could plug in your vacuum directly and it would start and stop with the table saw. If you feel the need for a delay you could use another auto switch, in addition to the relay controlled circuit, although I don't see why this would be necessary.
You will need an electrician or some one with electrical knowledge to do this.

Perfect! Thanks.
use a current switch. it is not dependent on voltage of machine being used. it may call for external power supply, some are 24vac.
