can you say “REFUND”???
The IRS is buying me a Tablesaw!!!
actually it was my $$ all along
but anyhoo…
because of room restraints I will be in the market for a 30″ cab saw!!
Considering Jet, General, Delta
Any others??
Powermatic is my dream saw, but I done got 2k$
Is Jet discontinuing thier Xacta saws with 30″ fences???
all I see now is the Supersaw with an enclosed base…
FWIW I am a finish carp. so I won’t be using this saw as a Full-time production saw.
woodworking for me is a second job /hobby/alternate income…
Thanx in advance

Considering Jet, General, Delta....
Given those choices, I'll always choose General. I would choose General over Powermatic any day also. They are best in class for the full size made in North America 10" saws (not counting super duty industrial machines), and even their 'international' imported saws seem to be better made than the competition.....they supposedly have better quality control in the Asian facotries.
I don't have one of the international ones, but I do have 4 General North American saws (plus something like 20 other General machines)......excellent performance from all of them.Cabinetmaker/college woodworking instructor. Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.

I have unselfishly decided that the tax return will go to paying down our debt.
But I AM squirreling away the $$$ for a saw...
and a planer and some more routers....
I was thinking I would take a road trip to canukidia and find a place that sells General.
Probably in the Toronto area.
thanx again
