Been to OWWM. Need value of old iron, J.D. Wallace 4″ jointer. My Dad is bringing it up from Fla. and wants me to sell it for him because he needs the money(fat chance that I’ll sell it). It was my Grandfathers and I want it. What would be a fair price to offer? No Idea what kind of condition it is in now, haven’t seen or used it in about 25 years.

Bruce,
It is really not worth much since a 4" machine has only limited use. If it is on a stand, with a motor, and in good shape, it might be worth $100 if you are feeling generous.
If it is in pristine shape it might have some value to someone collecting Wallace tools, but still not much more than $100.
