Does anyone know when the price went up? I could swear it was marked at $950 this weekend. Earlier this summer it was on sale for $850. I really regret not buying it then. Between the price increase and the evidently defunct C-Club discount this thing is just priced too close to a full cabinet saw.
I’m tempted to either go with a full cabinet saw or the $500 922104 and get an aftermark 52″ Biesemeyer clone.

I like the saw alot, but on sale for $949 wouldn't have prompted me to buy it. I suspect they sold alot of them previously and convinced themselves it's time for a price increase on this winner, but I also predict that strategy will backfire bigtime. There's alot of nice saws out there for $950. (10% off $950 would make it more attractive, but that'd be about tops of what I'd consider reasonable value)
Hang tight....if they've got them sitting in inventory, the price will come back down!
I bought one at $725. Market price should be $799. We all know that Sears is run by former shoe salesman, so if everybody stops buying from Sears for a while the price will get 'real' again.
