Just thought I’d post some pics of my latest customer build.
This is a 20 1/2″ jointer weighing in at about 10-12 pounds. Done in the piers style infill jointers were used for smoothing applications on very large panels. Mout is as tight as it is on an infill smoother.

Very nice work. It's almost too nice to use.
Beautiful piece of work, Ben. I agree that it looks too good to actually get mussed up in the trench, even though I'm sure it will preform admirably down there too.
Hopefully the field test model is on the way, I'll be looking for the "Big Brown Truck" to pull up. (UPS for you Brits) ha..ha..
Well done........

Very nice, must feel nice to use with all that heft and those comfy looking handles.
Looks like I did a great job!!! lol
How did we end up with the same name?
You know who.
Actually my name is Bernhard--which got shortened in highschool to Bernie and then Big Bernie as I'm a rather large felllow and then Big Ben and then just Ben which has stuck for about 35 years now.
BTW Bernhard means "big bear" in old German and along with my last name Knebel which means fist I become "Big Bear Fist" which I've always thought is kinda cool.
