A member praised the Abranet discs on another thread. My experience has been different. In my experience the Abranet discs do not remove wood as quickly as Mirka (using same grit number) and also Abranet discs move around on my Dewalt ROS. The Mirka discs are stable. My latest application as been on black walnut.
What has your experience been? Am I missing something or doing something wrong?

And I like both of these options
I've used the abranet. I liked them but the final finish was not as good as my go to. Synthetic steel wool for the final finish.
I bought Abranet grinding wheels at https://www.scrooz.com.au/. I've never had any problems using them. They perfectly grind both small knives and axes. I didn't notice any failures or ugly scratches that they can leave on the blades. I believe that Abranet perfectly removes wood and doesn't leave any sharp protrusions that can injure your arm or leg. What's the problem with your disks, and where did you buy them? I believe that a lot depends on the place of purchase. After all, there are non-original goods on sale in many stores, which unscrupulous sellers pass off as original. Be careful when buying. You can go to the catalogue on the website that I left and see all the guarantees for the goods.
