I’m assembling my Craftsman 22124 and can see that both extension wings are slightly warped. I used a 4′ straight edge and there are obvious gaps when I place it along the length of either wing. Also, the front left corner of the left wing flairs up a bit.
The main table also has high spots. I can take my straight edge and rock it back and forth on various points around the throat opening.
I’m going to pick up a feeler gauge tomorrow and probably a higher quality straight edge.
What is acceptable tolerances for flatness? I’ll want to know if and when I call Orion tomorrow.
On most of the spots in question I was easily able to slide a 3″ x 5″ index card underneath the straight-edge at the various points.
Thanks for any input.

Already did and they were very helpful. I'm going to spend a bit more time tweaking things before I take then up on their offer of a new extension wing. They were concerned about the corner of the left wing being flaired up.
