I recently bought a used Minimax FS30c jointer/planer. Ir turns out to have 120 mm ID output ducts for dust collection, and my system is all 4 inch flex tubing. I have not been able to find any adapter to use to connect the dust collection. The Rockler 5-4 inch adapter is a couple mm too small, and none of my other catalogs have anything different. I think some people have used a chunk of 5 inch flex to connect an adapter, but I can’t find 5 inch flex unless in industrial size lengths which is very expensive. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Look into rubber no-hub connectors & adaptors for D/W/V plumbing.
Make friends with someone who has a 3D printer.
Barring that Grizzly sells 5" x 10' flex hose for $19.95
Fernco adaptor. You can buy them from home depot.
It will fit snugly over your machine outlet, the other end will fit into a 5" hose. I duct tape the hose end as shown. it is snug enough that it will stay on the outlet. The part number is on the last pic. You can then use a standard reducer to go from 5 to 4" hose. You can buy 5' of 5" flex for $28 from onieda. You may be able to go directly from the Fernco to the 5-4" adapter, the large end of the adapter may be a bit small inside the Fernco, maybe build it up with tape to make the difference.
I would suggest buying the fernco then contacting Onieda regarding the adapter to see the best solution for cobbling it together.
This one may work directly from outlet to 4" hose.

Hope this helps but you're going to have to do some homework on this one.
Good luck

Thanks to everyone for the suggestions. Thanks especially to 27B_6 for even providing the part number at Home Depot for the rubber connector. I got 2 of them, and they fit the Minimax output ducts nicely. Out of curiosity I tried to fit the other end to the Rockler quick connect adapter, and it was close enough that I could clamp it down and seal it. So I didn't even need the 5-4 adapters that I had bought. The quick connect adapter is designed to fit my 4 inch tubing, so I am all set.
I want to compliment you guys on how quickly you responded to solve my problem. It was great.
