I need to veneer a metal console with Walnut Burl. The console is out of the car, sanded clean and I will be using a vacume bag. Any suggestions for the adhesive which will bond to the metal as well as the Burl veneer?

I used contact cement to put a wood veneer on the dashboard of a 51 MG about 15 years ago, still looks good.
Same process as sticking formica to a countertop.
