Adjustable Dado Blade – DML AD8000
Looking for some help in finding information on how to use this dado blade.
Going through some things in my dad’s garage. I found this unused dado blade.
It was manufactured by a company called DML, with the part number AD8000.
It has two 8″ carbide blades and is adjustable from 1/4″ to 13/16″.
I’ve searched the internet for information and have come up dry.
Looks like DML no longer makes saw blades of any type. let alone this style.
Any one out there know where I can get some instructions on how to use and maintain
this type of blade. I’v got great respect for sharp objects traveling at high rpm’s, so until I
find out more about this blade, back into it’s case it goes.

Sears twin
The Sears Excalibur looks to be a twin to your dado set, Willing to bet DML made it for sears.
Google Sears Excalibur Dado and I'll bet you get the info you want.
The unit is a wobble dado on steroids

Thanks for the information, and the cross reference help.
It did not take me long to find the material I needed to answer my questions.
I was kind of disappointed that these units, no matter who manufactures
them, do not come highly recommended. Again thanks for taking the
time to respond.
