adjusting plans for tall people
Is there a rule of thumb or general guidance for re-sizing furniture for taller and bigger persons? I am asked to build some Adirondack-style chairs for some tall people (6’5″ and up) and wondering how I can re-size plans to make them more comfortable for tall folks. I am hoping there is some guidance on heights, widths, and proportions that I can use to adjust plans I currently have. Thanks for help.

Standard vs. Tall
This document gives "standard" dimensions, along with body dimensions of average adults:

For your tall folks, the likely key dimensions to change would be seat depth and seat height. I'd ask them to take some measurements that correspond to the "averages" shown in the people diagrams, and then adjust accordingly.
Thanks Ralph that's a great reference
