Advice on European Style Sliding Table Saws
I’m looking to upgrade to a European style sliding table saw and have narrowed my search down to the Minimax SC2C and the Laguna P12|5. Both from a specification and feature standpoint look great however the Laguna looks like it’s a bit nicer in terms of it’s features, motor, and dust collection. Does anyone have experience with either of these saws or would recommend another?
I should add, the space I intend to put the saw in is half a two car garage. I know it will be tight if there is a car parked but I have no problem moving it for cross cutting wider panels or boards. I’ve attached a couple renderings of the space and some of the floor standing tools I’ll need to account for. The rough model of the sliding saw is based on the dimensions of the Minimax SC2C

Look at were both are made. This might tell you something about quality of construction. If both have the same features and about the same price then take the next step by going to look at both. I have a SC4 elite with the 5.5 slider.
After sales service is a hugely important factor. Who will provide the more reliable and efficient backup?
