Air compressor leaking oil into tank

Hey Fellas, I have a 75 gallon air compressor and oil is leaking into the lines. I figure the piston rings are worn out. My question is> can I repair this,replace the pump,or just buy a new one which will cost around $4-$500. What is my best option?

Repair should be possible. Check with the company which makes the compressor to see if parts are available.

Install an on line oil filter/trap. Use only compressor oil
