I a in the market for a new electric compressor. It may need to run up to 3 trim guns at a time, and periodic framing jobs. I have looked at the Porter-Cables. My jobs are usually very remote and have found that breakdowns are very costly so quality is a priority.
Let me know what y’all think.

I have a porter cable twin stack but only use it periodically so I can't tell you about durability that would relate to your purposes. One thing to note about dewalt and porter cable though, is dewalt bought pc and delta last summer. No one at PC or that I know what dewalt will do with the pc line and or the dewalt line. I am reluctant to buy anything pc until I know about those plans.
One thing that will help is I know a hardwood floor installer and a few trim contractors that use their compressors everyday and tough, heated and unheated environments and they all use rol airs. The flooring guy has had it for over 10 years and the trim guys 5 and 10 years. I think they have the 1.5 hp oil-less, but they come oil lubed too. Here's a link to ABC supply, a nationwide trade supply house. Wherever you live, they should have a location in the area. You can also order online though.
