I just bought very good pine, it was sawed in August looking for suggestions on how to air dry it inside.
Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated!
Thanks

Chipsaway,
Put it in your attic. Until the weather turns cold, if it's cold where you are, the attic is the warmest place in the house, and the wood should dry fairly fast.
I got this tip from one of Saint Roy's books. IIRC, when doing a house they would first of all cut the wood for the floors. They stash it in the top level of the carpenters' shop, and by the time they had the rest of the house up the wood for the floors would be dry enough.

What area of the country do you live in and what's the weather like fall, winter, spring? Do you have a moisture meter?
You don't want the wood to dry tooooo fast. Since it was cut in August, it must have dried some by now, it'd be helpful to know what MC it's at currently. From what I've read, caution must be use when drying in a potentially very warm (or hot!) area such as the attic. Wherever you stack it, air circulation will be important.
