Does anyone use air powered RO sanders in their shop for fine wood working? I have a huge compressor and am in the market for a high quailty ro sander.
thanks!

I have a friend with a large auto body shop and everything they use is air powered. They have a $20k ingersoll rand 120 gallon or so. The compressor is linked into a large dryer that keeps the moisture out of the compressed air. That would be the one concern I would have with using an air RO. I don't think the consumer air/water separaters will work well enough. In the summer especially, I think the humid air would be problematic and drive you crazy. Also, the air tools last forever but they are more expensive.
You might want to post this over in Knots though, others over there may have experience with this.
good luck
Take a look at Dynabrade, they got industrial air sanders covered from all directions.
