In case you havn’t discovered these folks I thought I’d pass the info along.  “They” are The Blastgate Co.  They have a web site but it only shows their blastgate offerings.  They tell me it will be updated with their full range within 2 weeks.

Anyway, in my research for my dust collection system I foud them as a link from E-Bay.  Ordered 4 X 4″ blastgates now have them and they look every bit as good as others on E-Bay, Oneida or Air Handling Systems.  The gates are cast aluminum and cost (drum roll) $4:34 ea.

In conversation with Blastgate I learned they also carry/make other DC components and ended up ordering from them.  Here’s a sample of (yet to be received) metal component prices:

5″ spiral duct 10″ lengths (they will cut into 5′ for shipping) $2.38/ft

4″ Snaplock duct 5′ lengths 26ga $5:83

5″-5″-4″ wyes  (low pressure so you will have to caulk seams) $9:79

5″ 45 deg. large radius elbow $12:49

And so on.  Their prices on hose are not as competitive but, just like everything, it’s difficult to compare apples to apples w/o having both in front of you.  I have no interest or connection with this company just felt the info might be of interest.
