Hello all,
I just planted some American Chestnut trees last week. How long can I expect them to live? Since all the trees are pretty much gone, does that mean the blight is gone also? Is there anything I can do to help them live long heathly lives? Right now I am holding my breath!

If those are the new blight resistant american chestnut you can expect them to last more than 125 years. Some may live to be 250 years old..
