After twenty two years building furniture at my studio in Key West, I feel the need for one more adventure. My shop and residence sits on one of Key Wests main Old Town streets and provides a wonderfull situation for a craftsman to live, work, and sell his work from the same location. Of course, I could sell this place as a law office, but I sincerely hope there is a furniture maker out there who would love to use it as I have done successfully for so long. Grandfathered in to its zoning, the building, business, and possibly the machines can be sold together. I have built the building from the ground up since I bought it in late 1979. There is quality in every detail with attention paid to hurricane readiness and complete fire separation between the shop and living areas. There is three phase wiring in the shop. Bill,
I enjoyed look at the photos, but where are the shop images? You know that's what we're
i really
after. (BTW, I'm not a potential purchaser, sorry.)
Best,
Seth
*Sorry Seth: You're right, I would want to see the shop space too! They will be added to the website(AKEYWESTSTUDIO.COM) in a day or two.Bill
*BillYou have a beautiful place. I hope you find a worthy owner. Unfortunately I'm not in the market, but if I were I'd feel spellbound by your situation. It really is a fairy tale!!!Good LuckTerry
