   Guys (and FG): Philip has appointed me (joking, right) his media manager.

   Key takeaway message - he makes planes for sale.

   That bit is not a joke!

   He's collectable, as good as the best if not better, and excellent value.

   Malcolm, I was interested and checked Philip's site looking for just this point and couldn't find any reference to the fact that his planes are for sale.  Perhaps I overlooked the page with that information?

   Probably best if Philip speaks for himself on  that subject.

   I guess I've interjected myself into the story because I nagged Philip to have a go at tool-making, when he seemed reluctant, and have - from afar, and virtually - supported his endeavours, and feel a measure of responsibility for their sucess!

   Like me, and like many of us, he works pretty much alone ... knots offers a measure of collegiality that is really valuable to a world-wide community of like-minded souls, and also offers an opportunity for us to share in our 'friends' enterprises and new ventures.

   Doug, you are correct-the web site is still to be up-dated on the latest developments. I intend to make a few more planes,then I will have the beginnings of a small "portfolio". In the meantime I continue to de-cipher the user manual for my camera and have an increasing stock of photos of various stages of plane making for the web site builder to play with. There is soon to be an ongoing article on another forum which will show some of them.
   It is nice to see thatI have friends and allies at Knots: Malcolm is again quite correct.Philip Marcou

   I look forward to seeing the porfolio.  Good luck with the camera.  I'm lucking if I can figure out how to "point and shoot".
