This is a freshly installed small kitchen built of Eastern Hard Maple with some Ambrosia coloring .
The recessed doors under the sink add a much needed design break as well as ventilation .
The concrete floor was polished and stained and waxed , it was still covered with protective paper .
The finish is a Satin pre cat lacquer applied wit an airless .
This is an Under ground home off the grid with Hydro and Solar as well as storage Pods and backup generators .
2′ thick concrete floor , exterior walls and roof , featuring a garden on the flat roof .
We call it Natural Maple , basically they select all the best White boards and this is what is left .

left-overs
Looks great, Dusty.
Where does one find "left-over" maple? Is there a lumpster (lumber dumpster) out back? ;-)
Ralph , Thats actually a good question , I'll splain .
Hard Maple typically is graded into several , Select & Better Select White maybe FAS and prolly a few lower grades depending on the mills supply .I know you know all this but then what happens is this particular supplier pulls all the White boards and anything else becomes a Proprietary grade made up just for us that does not exist within the NHLA grading scale , called Natural Maple so they re grade and create more grades and in the end better utilze the units of lumber .
lumpster , I like that .
