Was there an article in FWW that illustrated the making of a tray with angled sides joined by angled dovetails? I looked in my back copies and searched online but came up dry. Anyone remember such an article?

Hi,
If you do a search on canted dovetails, you should find the details you need.
Hope that this helps,
eddie
The article was not in FWW but Wooden Boat Magazine; it was an article on how to build a tool carrier which used angled dovetails. WBM, March/April 2005, #183. Have fun!
Dan Faia did an article a while back on layout dovetails on compound miters.
It was in Master Class- the issue also had an article about compund miters without the math. I don't remember the issue number, but I have it at home.
The older I get, the better I was....
Found it: issue 158 Sept/Oct 2002.

That's it! Thank you for the reference. I was looking at the articles and forgot it was in Master Class. My short-term memory is going. Now, let's see, where was I...
What is "Master Class?"
Any idea if the Wooden Boat mentioned is somewhere on line. Would love to see the article but have no idea where to find the magazine.
Is Master Class something in connection with wooden boat?
Thanks,

Master Class is an article every month in Fine Woodworking on advanced woodworking techniques. Veneering sunbursts, hammer veneering, carving, etc.
They've been doing it for about 3 or 4 years now.

Do a search for "Wooden Boat Magazine" and they have a similar site as FWW. The Masters Class is a segment of FWW near the end of the issues. I ddi not realize when I mentioned the Wooden Boat Mag article that FWW had done one also.
